Dot Day: Bookmark Making at The Hyde Collection
Sunday, September 13 | 10:30–11:30 AM | Free
Celebrate creativity, courage, and the simple joy of making your mark during this special Dot Day program at The Hyde Collection.
Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’s beloved story The Dot and the powerful idea that everyone can begin with one small mark, participants will explore color, pattern, and imagination while creating their own one-of-a-kind bookmarks. Together, we will experiment with dots in many forms—bold, playful, thoughtful, and expressive—discovering how even the smallest mark can grow into something uniquely our own.
Participants will create two bookmarks: one to take home and one to become part of a collaborative display at The Hyde.
This program is free, but advance registration is required through The Hyde Collection. Visit www.hydecollection.org and select the Family Events tab to register.
